Hope Alliance Mission trip to Uganda

James 2:17-18 says “Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. Yea, a man may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: show me thy faith without thy works, and I will show thee my faith by my works”.

Christ ministry is all to do with an all round regeneration and as James says in the above verses unless we evidence our faith through works then we will not be truly speaking God’s language of love. God’s love is a love that He expressed to us through His own perfect finished works and it is by His own loving expression that we receive the benefit of perfect regeneration to our souls. Therefore, as James rightly said, if we say we have love of God in our hearts and does not express that love through our works then we cannot say we are operating in mind of God's love.

At the heart of Hope Alliance vision is identifying spiritual and physical needs of people across the earth globe and ensuring that those needs are met to the glory of God through effective proclamation of the gospel not just by our words but by our regeneration faith works. We give God the glory who has opened the door for us to quick start our missionary work with a trip to Uganda in the month of June. Hope Alliance is readily on course for a 3 weeks mission trip to Uganda this June to offer a helping hand unto Jubilee Praise church a local ministry that God is using over there to transform the lives of prostitutes and other vulnerable people in the society. Jubilee Praise church is headed by Pastor Jude a wonderful man of God and native of Uganda. You can read more about the Lord’s calling on Pastor Jude life and how he came to answer that call at the Hope Alliance website. Jubilee Praise church is a ministry dedicated to preaching the gospel of Jesus Christ in the red light district area of Kampala an area that is inundated with problems of drug addiction, prostitution and health problems and since the ministry began the Lord has used Pastor Jude and his team to set loose several souls from the enemy bondage camp. Hope Alliance May 2010 Newsletter features two testimonies from Uganda from two of such people that the Lord has since used Pastor Jude ministry to impact their lives for His glory. Whilst in Uganda, Hope Alliance delegates will partake in field evangelism work with Pastor Jude’s team including ministering the word and distributions of tracks in the in the red light district area, distribution of food and other life necessities such as toiletries etc, God willing, we will also be exploring the possibilities of building a Hope Alliance Help Centre/Institute to enhance the life transformational results for new converts and also to promote long term greater regeneration success for the local community in general.

Hope Alliance will also be visiting an orphanage in Uganda called Abba Father’s House to extend our hands of love to children that are in theOrphanage. You can also read more about Abba Father’s House at our website. We will also be visiting other ministries, Christian organisations/agencies and as the Lord directs fully explore the possibilities of forming a long-term joint working relationships with them for Kingdom advancement purposes in Uganda and beyond.
